Step into Juniper Creek in High River for a charming winter market experience featuring over 35 Alberta makers. From handcrafted soaps and candles to local pantry goods and gifts, every corner is curated for comfort. Pick up a “Spend $25, Get a Free Soap” card at the Museum of the Highwood and enjoy shopping local this winter.

Farm Two53’s guest ranch offers a peaceful countryside escape, blending comfort with rustic charm. Guests can enjoy vintage-style accommodations, scenic landscapes, and a taste of Foothills farm life. While the pool is closed for winter, the wood-fired hot tub and sauna provide the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a day outdoors.





Discover the Painted Moose in Bragg Creek, your go-to spot for handmade local art. Explore paintings, pottery, glass works, jewellery, woodwork, woollens, upcycled leather and denim goods, and more. Open seven days a week, it’s just 30 minutes from Calgary and a bright spot for any Foothills getaway.




This winter, Eau Claire Distillery offers curated Winter Spirit Bundles, featuring award-winning Alberta whiskies and gins along with distillery merchandise. Perfect for gifting or cozy nights by the fire, these bundles are available November through February in their Turner Valley tasting room.





Located in a charming red barn in Turner Valley, the Chuckwagon Cafe serves some of Alberta’s best beef. From the steak eggs benedict featured on You Gotta Eat Here to award-winning burgers, enjoy all-day breakfast, homemade pies, soups, and a daily chef’s cut.
