About Foothills Tourism Association
Since 2019, the Foothills Tourism Association has been dedicated to representing the tourism industry within the Foothills. Our aim is to connect people locally and from beyond our borders. We work to attract visitors to our region by showcasing our heritage and building a strong, local visitor economy. For more information or questions contact us at foothillstourism@gmail.com.
Mission: Develop the growing Foothills tourism industry by connecting people, attracting visitors, advocating for the business community and showcasing our heritage.
Vision: establishing the Foothills as a premiere, year-round Alberta destination.
Where the Alberta prairies meet the Rocky Mountains, the Foothills is home to a varied and vast landscape. Dotted with Cool Little Towns, don’t expect to see it all in one day. From Nanton and its rich history in the south to the quaint Hamlet of Bragg Creek on our northern edge, the Foothills is waiting for you to explore. Whether you’re looking for a day trip out of the city, hiking, biking, shopping or a taste of western Canadian history and heritage – the Foothills has it.
